Implemented early in 2007, StateStat is a system that collects and evaluates data to improve efficiency in State government. To Governor's StateStat Office, State agencies submitted data on key performance indicators biweekly. This data constantly was analyzed and monitored to pinpoint problems and trends quickly, institute corrective actions, and measure their effectiveness. To improve performance and achieve goals, Office developed strategies for each agency to apply.
