In July 2003, the Special Commission on Legislative Prayer was formed by the Senate President.
The Commission was to recommend an official Senate position on legislative prayer. Its recommendations were considered during the 2004 regular legislative session for modification to the Rules of the Senate.
During the 2003 interim, the Commission held its last meeting.
